Welcome to My Blogs
introduction
Hi, I'm Kinshuk Jain a student and developer documenting my learning journey in public. This is Dev.Blogs, where I write about the things I'm building, breaking, and figuring out along the way.
Most of what you'll find here lives at the intersection of cloud computing, DevOps, security, and infrastructure engineering hands-on experiences with AWS services, serverless architectures, and CI/CD pipelines, written from the perspective of someone still actively learning rather than someone claiming to have it all figured out.
Who I am
I come from an electrical engineering background and found my way into software and the cloud. These days I spend my time working with AWS, building full-stack projects with React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS, and digging into how large systems actually work under the hood.
I learn best by building real things. One example: I built my own Google Drive clone end to end wiring together Amazon S3 for storage, Clerk for auth, NeonDB for the database, and Route 53 for DNS and wrote about the challenges along the way.
What I write about
- Cloud & AWS — Lambda, the Shared Responsibility Model, serverless scaling
- System design — high-level design and architecture breakdowns of real products
- DevOps & CI/CD — pipelines, infrastructure, and the tooling that ties it together
- Security — how responsibilities are split and how to think about securing what you ship
- Developer experience — the OS, tools, and workflows that make building better
- Personal notes — internships, lessons learned, and why I write at all

Product documentation published so far
Here's everything on the blog to date, newest first:
- Kosha — Your Personal Cloud Storage — A real cloud storage platform where your files never touch my server. Not a tutorial clone. Not a Firebase wrapper. A from-scratch reverse-engineering of the architecture behind Dropbox and Google Drive built by a student to actually understand how the real thing works.
- opaque Your personal password manager — A zero-knowledge, end-to-end encrypted password vault built on Next.js, Clerk, and Neon.
- My Own Terminal Theme Named Kijauk — Kijauk is a handcrafted Oh My Posh terminal theme built for developers who want a terminal that is both visually appealing and highly functional.

Why I write
In a world overflowing with information, I think good writing is one of the best ways to actually learn something not just consume it. Blogging forces clarity: if I can't explain it simply, I probably don't understand it yet. So this space is as much for me as it is for you.
If something here helped, confused, or sparked an idea, I'd genuinely love to hear about it.
